Moving from Lightroom to Photoshop

- We've seen what you can do with the localized editing tools in Lightroom and as I mentioned earlier, they're good tools and I use them a lot, but you can maybe hear some hedging in my voice there. I can't put my finger on it, but somehow Lightroom's tools feel a little blunt or a little coarse to me and I don't know if it's just that the brush performance is different or what, but I feel like I have more refined control in Photoshop. So, I will do as much localized correction as I can in Lightroom because it's non-destructive, it takes up very little space on my drive, 'cause they're just little edits in a list. It's a really efficient way to work and I like to get as much done in Lightroom as I can, but for complex edits I ultimately end up going to Photoshop and there I use a very simple tool set. Some people get confused by layer masks and adjustment layers, I think they're very simple and once you learn them, you can apply them to all sorts of different edits. I want to go back…
