Moving an image between documents

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you three different ways to move an image from one document into another, as an independent layer. And the reason we're doing this, is we need to give the pegasus wings, and those wings are coming from this photograph here. Now, method number one is the most obvious, but it involves the most steps. First, you go up to the Select menu, and choose the All command, or you can press Ctrl + A, or Cmdd + A on the Mac, and that's going to go ahead and select the entire image like so. Next, you go up to the Edit menu, and choose the Copy command, or you can press Ctrl + C, or Cmd + C on the Mac. Then, go ahead and switch images, and return to the Edit menu, and choose the Paste command, or you can press Ctrl + V or Cmd + V on the Mac, and that results in the independent layer that we're seeing at the top of the stack.
