Moving layers in and out of artboards

- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show you how to move layers in and out of artboards. And along the way we'll take a look at a feature known as auto-nesting. And so let's start off with the very basic example of an adjustment layer. One that I can use to colorize my artwork. And so notice that the original size artboard is selected and we can tell that's the case because its name is bold in the top left corner of the image. And so I'll got to the layer menu, choose new adjustment layer, and choose gradient map and I'll name this layer colorize and press the enter key or the return key on the Mac and then I'll click this down pointing arrowhead here inside the properties panel and I'll select one of those gradients that I gave you back in Chapter 29 of the Advanced Course. Namely this guy right here played finish. Alright now notice that Photoshop has automatically placed the adjustment layer inside the original size artboard and as a result the adjustment is affecting that artboard…
