- Now, I don't necessarily like to take pictures with my scanners that I could've just as easily snapped with a regular camera. I mean, what would be the point of that, right? So, for me, I like looking for ways of taking special advantages of how my scanners look at things, which could be a lot different from the default ways that my cameras see things. And that brings us to this video where we concentrate on taking advantage of the fact that scanners, unlike regular cameras, they capture their imagery by means of a moving, image-recording sliding thingie. It's a sliding thing that takes anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to capture a scene. This, as opposed to a camera that usually takes somewhere between like a 60th and six thousandth of a second to capture an image. So, given that scanners not only records images at a much slower pace than cameras usually do and because scanners record scenes from behind a conveniently located plate of glass, certain opportunities…
