Opening and creating files

- [Instructor] This is the Home screen that you first see when you open Photoshop for iPad, and it's where you control what you do next. You can start by opening an existing image using this panel at the top. When you tap on Import and open, you can choose to open an image from your camera roll, from files stored on your iPad, or you can take an image directly with the camera. You can make a new image if you want to start from scratch by tapping Create new down on the bottom left-hand corner. This shows your most recently created file sizes. You can also make a new document from scratch by choosing the units you want, pixels, inches, centimeters, millimeters, or points. You can set the width and height, the orientation, portrait or landscape, the resolution, the background contents, and the color mode. You can also choose from a range of presets.
