Opening an image from the desktop

- [Instructor] Now, a lot of people like to be able to open image files just by double-clicking on their thumbnails here at the desktop, which is known as the Windows Explorer on the PC or the Finder on the Mac. And so if you go ahead and navigate to that DT banner sub folder inside the 01 image folder, you should be able to double-click on any one of these thumbnails and have it open directly inside Photoshop like so. After which point, if I go ahead and close the file, then Photoshop adds it to the list of recently opened images here inside the home screen. But that's not always going to work out. For example, I'll go ahead and bring back that folder. Now on the Mac, you should see a three character extension after every one of these file names, and it should read PSD, which stands for Photoshop Document.
