Opening a photo in Photoshop
- [Instructor] The first screen that you see when you first open Photoshop is the welcome screen. From here, you can create a new Photoshop document or open images from your computer, Lightroom, or the Creative Cloud. Let's start by opening a document from your computer. Click on the Open button, then navigate to the folder that contains your image. For this example, I will open an image inside my How to Color Correct Photos in Photoshop folder. The image is called Venice-01.jpeg. Click on it to select it, then click on the Open button to open the image in Photoshop. This is the Photoshop interface. In the center, you'll see your photo inside of the canvas. On the left, you have the toolbar which contains all your editing tools and above the tool bar, you'll have the options bar, which gives you options and settings for your currently selected tool.
