Organizing adjustment layers by grouping
- As you work with several adjustment layers, you might find the need for the group command. This puts all of the layers into a folder and helps keep them organized. Grouping is really just an organizational technique, but it does give you some flexibility over how layers are processed and stacked, let's see. One of the things I like to do is occasionally organize my files. Now in this case, we've got several different adjustment layers that are affecting things. A gradient map, and if you take a look at that gradient, it's applying a darkening effect to the shadows, to a highlight. And since that's in on overlay mode, it behaves very differently than if it were in normal mode. Remember, changing blending modes is the first place to start, and then tweak the opacity on the adjustment layer to get the look. A little bit of the vibrance adjustment there, and it's poppin' the color in the sky, I like that. And then I got this black and white adjustment up here. Well, I wanna actually…
