Paint the rectangles using the Photoshop Mixer Brush

- [Instructor] So here we are now in Photoshop with the file that we exported from Illustrator. Before we repaint the colors using the mixer brush we need to do some tidy up on the layers. Illustrator has generated these layer groups, and we can simplify things by merging the groups. So one by one, I'll select a layer group and from the Layers panel menu choose Merge Group or Command or Control + E. Next, I'm going to name the layers. I need to add a solid color fill layer at the bottom and this is going to be my canvas color which I'm going to have as 205 205 205. And we need that because we need a color for the mixer brush to interact with. I'll be painting in the colors on an empty layer above each of my existing color layers. These existing color layers will ultimately be discarded. Omitting the border layer, I'll come to red, create a new layer, yellow, new layer above it, blue same thing, black and gray.
