Painting with the Overlay mode

- Alright, now we've managed to make a big difference. Notice, this is the version of the alpha channel that we saw at the beginning of the previous movie, and this is how it looks now. But we still need to paint the left side of the image black, we need to paint the interior of the face white, and so forth. And we're gonna do that using the brush tool which you can get by pressing the B key. Now, I wanna paint with black, so I'll press the D key to instate my default foreground and background colors. And then I'll press the X key to swap 'em. Now, if I right click inside the image window, you can see that my hardness value is still 100%. I'm gonna increase the size of my cursor by pressing the right bracket key a few times. Now, if I was to just paint, then I would create an opaque brush stroke which obviously is not the way to go. Which is why I first need to change the blend mode either to soft light, if I wanna make some subtle modifications. I could even go with hard mix if I'm…
