Painting with Quick Selection tool

- [Narrator] Now I'll take a look at the so called "quick selection" tool, which is an automated selection brush that looks for edges inside of a photograph. So areas of rapid luminous change, so each one of the hairs in the eyebrow, for example, would be considered an edge, and so I'll go ahead and click and hold on the magic wand tool, and choose the quick selection tool from the fly out menu. And notice I have this little brush cursor, if I wanted to change its size, I would click on this down pointing arrowhead, up here in the options bar. Notice the default size is 30 pixels, I'm going to take it up to 50 pixels instead. And then, you just paint inside of the image like so. Now it's currently taking into account all layers, and that's because once again I've got an adjustment layer selected. I don't want that, so I'll switch to the background and press Control + D or Command + D on the Mac, to de-select the image. And…
