Painting translucent effects with an adjustment layer
- [Instructor] Let's give our model some lipstick. We'll zoom into the mouth, switch to the lasso tool, and we'll make a selection around the mouth. And I'm deliberately going way outside the edges of the mouth so we can refine the selection afterwards. We'll go to the bottom of the task bar and we see that add clipped adjustment doesn't appear. Instead, where it should be, there are all of these different commands to do with masks. And the reason for that is that when we last left this image we were working on the mask for the hair adjustment. So let's bring up our layers panel and switch from the mask to the adjustment layer itself. Now when we go to the bottom of the task bar, add clipped adjustment shows up. And let's choose hue and saturation. We can put the layers panel away, and let's check the colorize button to add some strong color to these lips.
