- [Instructor] When you start to work in the panoramic format, frames become incredibly expensive, and in fact what I like to do is I offer my panoramas as canvas gallery wraps and metal prints. And what that does is it presents your work ready to hang. The idea of doing a custom frame for a panorama that may be five feet across really intimidates me. Occasionally I get a request for that, but most of the time my clients are more than happy to buy a canvas or metal piece and not have any additional expenses. And while a metal piece might be $4,000, it's actually possible it could end up being cheaper than a print the same size with a custom frame, and that's quite shocking to hear. But the large custom frames, if you do them right, they are very expensive. Let's take a look at where I recommend going in terms of canvas and metal.
