Perfecting hair inside a vector mask

- [Narrator] In this movie I'll show you at least one way to perfect a pixel based hair mask that's working hand in hand with a vector mask here inside photoshop. And to make a long story short, it's a lot of manual brush work. And so I'm going to start by alt or option clicking on the layer mask thumbnail so I can view the mask independently of the rest of the image. And then I'll select the brush tool, which you can get by pressing the B key. And my brush is way too big here so I'll reduce it's size by pressing the left bracket key a few times. And then I'll right click inside the image window and crank the hardness value up because we're going to start by brushing inside the neck and shoulders which are smooth elements. Alright now, I'll press the enter key to accept that change, I'll make sure my blend mode is set to normal, that the opacity value is 100%, and that the foreground color down here at the bottom of the toolbox is white.
