- Having already mentioned the value of starting to think more like a real world lighting artist or technician. When working on our V-Ray scenes, what I wanted to quickly do in this penultimate video for the chapter is encourage everyone to also become at least a little bit familiar with the tools used by those real world lighting artists in their day to day work given that this too, can help spark creative ideas regarding how we can light our digital scenes. Now, there are of course, lots of ways in which we could go about doing this with perhaps the most beneficial being to actually work with as many photographic lighting tools as possible, given that this will probably give us the best kind of insight into the type and quality of light shadows and highlights that they produce.
