Photoshop remembers rotations
- Now in Photoshop 2020 and earlier rotating a live shape would break it. In other words, the shape would turn to static path out lines. Here inside Photoshop 2021, not only do the shapes remain dynamic but Photoshop remembers your rotations as well. And so notice that I still have these two shape layers selected and then I'm working with literally any of the shape tools, even the custom shape tool, by the way. And so notice if I move my cursor slightly outside one of these handles in drag, I'm seeing a heads up display for one thing, but notice if I release then I do not get a warning telling me that I'm going to lose my live shapes. Also notice if I go up to the window menu and choose the properties command then I'm seeing that rotation tracked with this rotate value. And so I could change that value to anything I like such as 15°. And so now I'm just going to go ahead and click on the rectangle layer here inside…
