Post-processing for maximizing contrast

- Earlier you saw me shoot an image and then shoot it again with an exposure adjustment to try to increase the contrast in the scene. It was the fence up against the plants and I wanted to increase the contrast because I knew that the scene needed a little more contrast and I wanted to try and get that in camera, rather than do it in the computer because every time you make an edit to an image you use up a little bit of its editability. And what I mean by that is you push some data around and in the process of pushing that data around you possibly degraded the data. Do that enough times and you'll see visible artifacts in your image, so it's a good idea to make as few edits as possible. Now there's a difference between making those edits in Raw and making in Photoshop, but still it's good habit just to try to get things right in camera.
