Previewing size and hardness
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you a couple of other tricks for changing the size and hardness of the brush that allow you to preview the effect on the fly. And because it's a little different on the Mac than it is under Windows, I've gone ahead and documented this trick over here. But it's not really all that different. And that's because right-clicking under Windows is something you can simulate by pressing the Control key, not the Command key and clicking on the Mac. And the alt key is, of course, analogous to the Option key. And so notice what happens if I just press the alt key. This would be the Option key on the Mac. While the brush tool is active, I get the eye dropper on the fly, which means that I can now click in order to change the foreground color. Compare that to what happens if instead of left-clicking under Windows, you right-click. And notice now, if I drag to the left, I decrease the diameter…
