Processing film negatives with a scanner
- Okay, say you picked up a film camera, cheap or otherwise, and you took yourself out on a casual picture taking adventure, and then you got your film developed, turned into negatives, and now what, right? Well, now it's time to fire up your scanner and to turn these, into these; high quality digital files that you can edit and finalize. Now, we'll be getting to that editing and finalizing in the next video, but right here we're gonna concentrate on how the scanning part works, provided that your scanner has all the necessary add-ons for processing film. And I'll be using my Cannon scanner here, along with its negative processing software. If you use something different, don't worry, it's very likely that things are gonna work in a really similar way, using what you've got. And also, there's good ol' Google to the rescue if you come up against any roadblocks.
