Puppet Warp

- [Instructor] Puppet Warp is a great way to bend and distort objects in Photoshop especially when the bend needs to look natural. In order to do this non-destructively, I'll select the spoon layer and then right click and use the context-sensitive menus to convert it to a smart object. Then under the edit menu, I can choose Puppet Warp. In order to add pins, all I need to do is click anywhere on the warp and then click to select a pin and then drag to reposition it. The more pins that you add to the warp, the more control you'll have over it. We can use the options bar in order to set the rigidity of the warp. So normal is trying to maintain the pixel fidelity, but if I change it to rigid, now I'm going to get a stiffer bend. And if I change it to distort, the mesh seems to be very elastic and it will definitely expand or contract that distortion. So for now I'll return to normal. If I want to hide the mesh, I can…
