Quick-and-dirty layer masking

- [Instructor] Alright so far we have a really big mess on our hands. But it's going to end up looking like this. And in fact the background's going to look this good by the end of this movie. Thanks to the addition of some very basic quick and dirty layer masks. Alright so I'm going to switch over to my document so far. And I'm going to start by adding a layer mask to my Ashurbani layer. And so with that layer selected, the one that looks like Ashurbanipal drop down to the add layer mask icon and click on it. And then I'm going to zoom out just a little bit here by pressing control zero, or command zero on the Mac. And I'll select the brush tool. Which of course I can get by pressing the B key and you can see that I have a huge brush right here. I don't want it to be quite that big. So I'll take it down a little bit maybe to 300 pixels. Also right-click so you can see the harness values crank down to 0%. And now press the d key to switch to my default foreground and background…
