- [Instructor] Another great tool for retouching is the liquefy filter. Like with any retouching tool, you'll want to be subtle, but one of the more common problems is with hair in the wind and clothing that's been pulled or looks too stiff. So here I have three different layers. I've got the remove contrast and retouching layer from the last video, as well as the smart filter. In order to apply liquefy in a non-destructive manner, I'm going to select all three of these layers. And then under the filter menu I'm going to convert them to a smart filter. After we apply this filter, if I ever need to go back in and make any adjustments, I can always double click on the smart object in order to access the layers within that smart object. But for now, I'll go ahead and close that, and then choose filter and then liquefy. So in my Photoshop essential training basics course, we take a look at all of the tools in liquefy. For this…
