Quilt Warp tips and tricks: Photoshop 2020 New Features

Start with a smart object. Apply Edit > Transform > Warp. From then on, you have a nondestructive and editable manipulation. Currently, nudging doesn’t work, hopefully that gets resolved. Use the Split icons to add custom breaks, or try the Edit > Transform > Split commands. Alt- or Option-click to add a custom H/V break on-the-fly. To delete a row and column at a selected point, right-click point, choose Remove Warp Split. To clear a distortion, change the Grid setting to Default or click Reset the Warp icon. Both operations delete all Split lines.
