- [Instructor] All right, in this movie, we're going to begin work on a real world project, which happens to be this elaborate banner design. And it's representative of the kind of things that we, as designers, find ourself creating on a regular basis. Now, so far, all the compositions that we've created have involved images that are exactly the same size. And that way everything gets positioned in the right place. And I've done that in the past to cut to the chase and provide you with as much immediate satisfaction as possible. But that is not the case this time around. Every one of these images needs to be positioned and scaled and rotated and composited in order to create this final effect. And the first thing I'm going to do is colorize this layer from underneath using a gradient layer. And so I'll go ahead and convert this background to an independent layer by double clicking on it and calling it "wall." Then I'll go up to the Layer menu, choose New Fill Layer, and choose…
