- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll refine our mask to absolute perfection and we'll be doing so using a handful of commands, starting with select and mask, about which we will learn more in the next chapter. So again, consider this a kind of preview. We'll also be working with the lasso and brush tools and we'll be taken advantage of a couple of filters known as median and minimum. So, for starters here, notice if I go ahead and zoom in on this portion of the plane, that we have some artifacts from the previous background, that is to say, we're seeing some color fringing around the plane. And the best way to address that is make sure that your airplane layer is selected and then go up to the select menu and choose select and mask. And that's going to switch you to a different workspace. So, notice that we have a new set of tools over here on the left hand side of the screen and we have a big properties panel over here on the right side of the screen.
