Remove acne and scars in Photoshop
- [Instructor] Most of the time, Lightroom is just fine for retouching acne but when keeping skin texture is critical, I use Photoshop. The main reason is the tools I use allow me to select what pixels I want to lighten or darken. When lighten mode is selected, only the pixels that are darker than the source area will be lightened. In darken mode, only pixels lighter than the source area are darkened. Two of the tools I use are spot healing brush and healing brush. Both blend source pixels with the target pixels. With spot healing brush, Photoshop selects the source area. It's good for quick touch-ups but the problem is you don't know where the source is. With healing brush, you choose the source area. I like to be in control so I prefer the healing brush. Let's get started. Create a new layer and rename this acne. It's always helpful to name the layers to keep track of what you did.
