- [Instructor] Next, I'm going to show you how to remove the model from the photo. And the reason that you want to remove her from the background is so that when you blur it, the edges won't show through and you won't create a ghosting effect. One of the easiest ways to do so is by holding Control on Windows, Command on the Mac and click on the layer mask with the layer mask active. We're going to expand the selection.
