Removing blemishes and coloring shadows
- [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to do a beauty retouch. This girl has an attractive face, let's make her look even better. By tapping the three dots at the bottom of the task bar, and we'll choose duplicate layer. If we look at the Layers panel, there's the duplicate layer at the top. It's always useful to have the original to go back to in case anything goes wrong later. Let's start by fixing a few blemishes. If we pinch to zoom in, we can see there's a bit of a red line going around her neck. To fix that, we can switch to the Heal tool, and let's adjust the size to make the brush size a little smaller. When we now drag the tool over that area, it highlights it in dark gray. When we take our finger or Apple Pencil off the screen, it patches it and removes the blemish. We can do a little more. And we can get rid of all of those tiny imperfections that were spoiling the appearance. If we zoom out…
