Removing larger elements from an image

- [Instructor] When trying to remove larger elements in an image, it might be best to copy a really large region of good information in order to replace that unwanted content. So in this image, I feel it's all about the horizontal and vertical lines, so I really don't like this third iceberg over here, and I want to replace it. In order to do this, I'll tap the L key to select the Lasso tool, and then I'll select a large portion of this iceberg right here. Then to make a copy of it, I can choose Layer, New, and then Layer Via Copy. Now we have all of that iceberg on its own layer. So I'll tap the V key to select the Move tool, and then I'll reposition layer one on top of the area that I want it to replace. However, I can no longer see the area that I need to mask, so I'll hold down the Option key on the Mac, or the Alt key on Windows, and click on the layer mask icon in the Layers panel. That gives me a black mask…
