Removing noise and recovering detail with Denoise AI

- Noise can be caused in a camera for many reasons. One can be shooting at too high of an ISO, which bumps up the sensitivity of your camera sensor, another could be heat, or a malfunctioning camera, or shooting in really low light. But noise can also be removed relatively easily. In this case, I've got a pretty noisy image. My camera had a really high ISO setting and you see just a tremendous amount of grain here in the photograph. Let's go ahead and convert for Smart Filters so that filters are non-destructive, and then turn on the Denoise filter. Denoise works as a Photoshop plug-in or as a standalone application. And take a look at both the skin and the background and that's really working nicely. The auto-brighten preview is there so that if you're working with a really dark image, it gets brighter and easier to see. The remove noise slider gets pretty aggressive.
