Removing stray hairs

- [Voiceover] When you're retouching a portrait and it comes to the time when you want to work on the hair. One of the things you'll start to notice is that you'll begin to see these stray hairs. Sometimes the stray hairs will be on the face or they're covering the background. How can we deal with those? Well to deal with those we'll take a two step approach. The first step involves creating a new layer and on this new layer we'll do is some spot healing. So go ahead and name this layer spot healing. Next I'll zoom in on the image and when we zoom in I'll see a stray hair right here across the cheek. Let me get really close to that. To fix that I'll press J and Shift-J until I have the spot healing brush. Now for my brush size I want a really small brush and I want sample all layers up here turned on. With this it's really just a matter of going in hair by hair and clicking and painting over those areas to remove that. What you want to do with this is you want to move around the…
