Replacing the contents of a Smart Object

- [Instructor] This video, as well as the next one, are going to focus on the benefits of using smart objects with templates. If you're unfamiliar with smart objects, then be sure to watch these smart objects essentials chapter in my Photoshop Essential Training Basics Course. In this example, I want to create a series of cards that I could use as marketing materials for my book passenger seat. But you can use this technique if you're replacing an FPO image for a retouch version, or really anytime you want to start with a template and have the flexibility to quickly swap out the photo. In order to place my first photo, I'll use the file menu and then choose place embedded, I'll navigate to the boosting productivity folder and select PS for passenger seat underscore 01 and click Place. Photoshop will display the transformation handles so that I could make this smaller or larger, but for now, I'll leave it at the same size as…
