Resetting and updating workspaces
- [Instructor] All right, now I'm going to show you how to switch between workspaces as well as reset and update a workspace. And so, let's say later on down the line you want to switch back to Photoshop's default workspace, because after all, you may be sharing a machine with somebody else. In that case, all you have to do is click on that little workspace icon up there in the top right corner of the screen and choose essentials, which is Photoshop's default workspace. Now initially that's not going to do anything, and that's because, for the sake of convenience, Photoshop updates the workspace as you move panels and bring up other panels on screen. And so, if you want to reset that workspace, you click on that icon again and choose reset essentials, and that'll go ahead and switch you back to the default workspace including that learn panel that I had you closed in the first chapter.
