- All right now at this point it's occurring to me that this poor girl on the left that I've been devoting so much attention to. But she's so pretty, she deserves it. It's looking to me like her cheek is swollen up over here on the right-hand side. I want to take it down a little bit in order to create this more flattering effect here. And any time you want to work on the structure of your subject, you want to change the way they are phyically shaped, then the tool of choice is located here under the Filter menu and it's the Liquify command. Now this is such a powerful feature that I devote an entire chapter to it in my advanced course. So consider this just the briefest of all possible introductions. All right so I'll go ahead and switch over to my image at hand here. Now Liquify requires a layer of pixels. So go ahead and click on the Merged layer to select it and then go up to the Filter menu and choose the Liquify command. Which brings up an independent utility that runs inside…
