- [Narrator] Before we begin, I wanted to highlight a free bonus resource that I put together, which will help you get even more out of this course. You can find this resource by visiting chrisorwig.com/learn. If you go to that area on my website, you'll find a contact form that you can fill out if you have any questions, comments, or just like to say hello. You can always drop me a line by using that form. But if you scroll down below, you'll find that there's an area where you can download two different documents. These documents are something that I've created to help you become better at retouching. You can download this as a PDF or as a word doc. So here, if you click on the PDF link, it will open a tab so that you can view and download a .pdf file, and essentially what this document will do is give you some ideas about creating your own roadmap for retouching. Because the trick is not to just learn the tools but how to use the tools effectively. You can read through this on your own time, but here, you can see I have a paragraph about retouching. Then also a little bit about thinking about your own vision and strategy for the way that you retouch your images. A lot of times, it depends upon the type of photograph. Is it a fashion photograph or is it more documentary? Is it commercial or is it more of a family portrait? Next, you can go through all of those things and ask yourself, "Well how much time do I have "in order to work on that image?" Then, the final page I included a retouching checklist, a place where you can go through an image and just make sure you're covering all of these different details or add in a few others of your own. Well I hope that you find that resource to be helpful. Again, you can find that by visiting chrisorwig.com/learn.
