Restoring blown highlights

- [Instructor] All right, now, let's show you a great way to correct a blown highlight using the spot healing brush. And so notice this girl's shoulder right here. See how terribly white it is. It is actually totally blown. And by that, I mean the highlights are clipped. And you can test it that's the case by switching from the Object Selection Tool to the Magic Wand Tool, which is a great tool for finding regions that have exactly the same color inside of an image. And so, what you want to do, is take this tolerance value right here and set it to zero and then turn off the anti-aliasing checkbox. Make sure contiguous is turned on. And for our purposes, since the healing layer is active, go ahead and turn on sample all layers, and then click anywhere in this hot part of the shoulder.
