Restoring the cracks and spots with Spot Healing Brush and Patch

- In this lesson we'll be using the spot healing brush tool, to repair some of the small to medium areas of damage within the image. Spot healing brush can be found at the top of this menu here. And up here we'll be selecting the size, hardness, and spacing. We'll be using the defaults that Photoshop leaves us there. We will be using pen pressure, and I'll just zoom in and show you how that can be to our advantage. When healing the larger spots here, with the spot healing bush tool, we can press down hard to get a larger size brush, or we can be very gentle and get a thinner brush. And that will save us changing the size of brush on the fly, allowing us to speed through the workflow very quickly. So the three modes for the spot healing brush are up here. Proximity match, create texture and content aware. The proximity match can be useful in restoration. For us this time though let's test to see how we get on.
