- The topic of this chapter is advanced retouching. The idea is that you want to take what should have been a really great photo, something that you had high hopes for, and restore it to its full potential. We'll start by uncropping an image and adding some extra background. Then, we'll restore a missing detail using elements from another photograph. I'll show you how to expand a photo to give it a different orientation. Plus, I'll show you how to remove unwanted photobombers and blend multiple depths of field, so everything is in perfect focus. Now, this might sound like a lot of esoteric stuff, but it's the kind of work you'll find yourself doing all the time in Photoshop. And the better you get at it, the more perfect your final images will be.
