Restoring a missing photographic element

- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show you how restore a missing photographic element, namely Sam's forward shoe. Now I approached this from a handful of different prospectives. Initially I though I might be able to clone his existing shoe, the one that's on his left foot. I went shopping online to see if I could find a picture of this shoe, but this it dawned on me, I must have shot a different photograph in which I actually captured this shoe. And sure enough, it's this guy right here. And while it's not a very flattering photograph of Sam it's a great shot of that right hand shoe. And so I'm going to start things off by selecting it with the Rectangular Marquee Tool, and notice that I'm giving myself plenty of wiggle room around the shoe, and now I'll just go ahead and copy it by pressing Control + C or Command + C on the Mac. Now I'll go ahead and switch over to my image in progress here and I'll go ahead and zoom in on his foot, like so, and with the ground layer selected I'll…
