Retouching airplane light trails

- [Instructor] In many locations, airplanes flying back and forth are a common sight in the night sky. And of course, the problem with that when you're doing photographs of the night sky is that they leave their light trails all throughout your images. So let's take a look at a couple of ways you might deal with this. In this photo, we have a nice silhouette taken up in the Sierras of this tree and the Big Dipper above it. Might be kind of hard to see that that's the Big Dipper just because there are so many stars there, but here are the stars in the Big Dipper there. And of course, we also have a lovely airplane light trail going through the image. So, the first thing I'm going to do is zoom up close using Command + Option + 0 on a Mac or Control + Alt + 0 on Windows to get up to 100%. I'll hold down the space bar to get the grabber hand to move this around. And I want to make a selection of the area that I'm going to…
