So now we've looked at shooting interiors in two very different spaces, but many of the concepts were the same that we used to shoot them. One, when we're dealing with interiors we're always looking for surfaces and textures, the way to separate things out in the shot, being able to look out of the windows, bring the outside in, when there is a large expansive glass that we had in both of these examples. So in order to be able to get everything shot, we had to employ a variety of techniques of multiple exposure to be able to balance out the highlights and shadow information, of stacking focus in order to carry focus from the front of the shot to the back of the shot. Careful placement of the furniture and arrangement of the camera angle, lighting to separate things apart from each other, to really breathe some life and separation and depth into the image.
