- [Deke] Now I want you to notice, when the brush tool is active, this goes goes for the eraser and other painting tools as well. We're going to see an angle value up here in the options bar. And you can modify that value by scrubbing it back and forth like so. Or when value is not active, you can press the right arrow key to make the value smaller or the left arrow key to make the value larger. However, it's not going to make any difference when we're armed with the circular brush. And so what I'm going to do, is go up to the window menu and once again choose brush settings. So I can show you this guy right here. Which represents the shape of the brush. So I'm going to go ahead and reset the angle value to zero degrees so that our circle is straight up and down.
