- [Instructor] Now that we've removed the color cast from the photo it's time and save it. First make sure that you save the file as a Photoshop document, a PSD. PSDs are editable files. If you need to come back in the future and make changes to your color correction you will need the editable PSD with adjustment layers. Obviously you will need Photoshop to open a PSD. So your friends and colleagues without Photoshop will not be able to open these types of files. And you can not upload a PSD to social media. Instead, you will need to export the project as a JPEG to use anywhere else. However, the JPEG image is a flattened compressed version of your project, which will not have layers. So make sure that you save both types of files. First, let's save the fully editable Photoshop document. To do so, go into File and Save. From this screen you can select where in your hard drive the file will be saved and you can rename it.…
