- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to save a selection as an alpha channel, as simply as clicking on an icon. Which is, generally, the more convenient way to work. Alright, so the first thing I need to do is to retrieve my last selection outline. Now, if you've been working right along with me, you may be able to do this by going up to the Select menu, and choosing the Reselect command. Which, in my case, works. As you can see here, sure enough, I have those elliptical selections. This is not, however, a very reliable command. And that's because it can be thrown off by switching between images and performing other operations inside Photoshop. In which case, you can retrieve that saved selection, here in the Channels panel, by going up to the Select menu and choosing the Load Selection command. And then go ahead and change the Channel setting, not to screamer Mask, which is gonna be the layer mask for the screamer layer, or screamer Transparency, which is going to load the…
