Saving alpha channels to the TIFF format

- [Narrator] In this movie, we'll talk about the best way to save your alpha channels because, after all, if you're going to put that much work into making then, you'll want to be sure to save them as well. So let's start with this guy. I'll go ahead and switch back the RGB composite, which of course I can get by presenting Ctrl+2 or Command+2 on a Mac. And I'll go ahead and switch back to the layers panel as well. So let's say that your image contains at least one layer, bearing in mind that the background doesn't count. It's a flat image. So you have at least one layer and at least one alpha channel. In that case, you save the image to the standard native PSD format by, in our case, going up to the File menu and either just choosing the Save command to update this image, or, if I want to save it under a different file name, I would choose Save As or press that shortcut of Ctrl+Shift+S, or Command+Shift+S on a Mac. Then you can go ahead and give the image any name you like and make…
