Saving a layered PSD file

- [Instructor] Over the course of the last several chapters, I've been showing you how to create multilayered compositions here inside Photoshop. Now I'm going to show you how to save such a file. And so notice up here in the Title tab that we're seeing a copyright symbol that tells me that the file has been marked as copyrighted, and I'll show you how that works in a future movie. Then we're seeing the file name Dreams about dreams followed by three character extension PSD, which stands for Photoshop Document. PSD is Photoshop's native file format, and it supports layers as well as layer masks, adjustment layers, blend modes, and so forth. Next back up here in the Title tab, we're seeing the zoom ratio, which in my case is 66.7% followed by a couple of items inside parentheses, starting with the active layer.
