- [Voiceover] Photoshop has two ways to save brushes: as brush presets and as tool presets. What's the difference between these saving methods? In this movie, I will unravel the mystery of these two methods of preserving your custom brushes. Let's get started. So, throughout this movie, all the custom brushes that we've made, we've saved as brush presets which up til now have been fine. However, in this chapter, we're going to start looking at the mixer brush. And I want to show you the differences between a regular brush and a mixer brush. I'm going to open up the brush panel here and we're also going to load up the tool preset panel. So, we'll load that up. We've got them side by side here. Here's the deal, when you save a brush preset, you're saving every setting that's in the brush panel.
