The Select > Subject command
- [Instructor] Now we're going to take a look at Photoshop's miracle selection tool, which is actually a command known as select subject. And that's going to allow us to take this guy right here once again from the Dreamstime image library and set him against this sky background in order to create this final effect. And believe it or not, this is easier than anything we've seen so far. And so I'll go ahead and switch over to this guy. Now notice that the Dreamstime layer is selected here inside the layers panel. That's going to be a mistake, but let me demonstrate what happens. If I go up to the select menu and choose the subject command, that's all there is to it. And notice a moment or two later, Photoshop goes ahead and draws the selection outline around this guy, along with his iPad, the fingers, and so forth.
