Selecting alternate characters using the Glyph panel

- [Instructor] There's another panel that we haven't looked at that can help us to add alternate characters that are available in a font, and that's the Glyphs panel. I've got the type tool selected, and I've selected Bickham Script as my font. It's not that other typefaces won't work, but I know that this font has a number of alternate characters that we can experiment with. I've set the point size to 220, and I've got it center-aligned. Then I'll click in the image area and type in Antarctica. Now, in order to see any alternate characters, I can select a character, and Photoshop will display the alternates in the on-canvas glyph area. In order to switch out the character, I just need to select it. But Photoshop also has a Glyphs panel with additional options. So across the top, we have all of our recently used glyphs. We can see the glyphs for the entire font, and we can change the size, not only of the squares,…
