Selecting an elliptical object

- All right now, it's easy to look at the geometric selection tools, the rectangular marquee and the elliptical marquee as downright primitive. But in fact, they're very useful. Consider for example, that the rectangular marquee tool is selected by default. Every time you launch Photoshop. Also consider that many things in nature are elliptical. Which is why we're going to use the elliptical marquee tool. To take this moonshot, that I captured with a 400 millimeter fixed lens and a two X extender. So a focal length of 800 millimeters, and we're going to set it against this eclipse that I also captured same setup back in 2017 in Alliance Nebraska.
